QAA works in collaboration with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies (PSRBs) to share information and experience, with a view to rationalising regulation. We run a regular PSRB forum, in collaboration with the UK Inter-Professional Group (UKIPG), aimed at promoting debate and information sharing between QAA and professional bodies. In addition, QAA maintains memoranda of understanding or memoranda of cooperation with several professional bodies.
The PSRB forum
The PSRB forum was established in June 2008, and is a joint venture between QAA and the UK Inter-Professional Group (UKIPG). It is designed to provide an opportunity for representatives from PSRBs to share ideas and experiences and discuss areas of mutual interest with QAA, with a view to sharing good practice and achieving economy of effort.
The forum is of interest to PSRB officers involved in the accreditation of higher education programmes and the maintenance of academic and professional standards.

Memoranda of understanding and memoranda of cooperation
QAA has memoranda of understanding or memoranda of cooperation with several professional bodies.
