This year's QAA Annual Conference, in association with Times Higher Education, took place on Monday 25 June 2012. The theme was Expanding the boundaries of higher education: new challenges in quality assurance.

Rt Hon David Willetts MP, the Universities and Science Minister, and Shabana Mahmood MP, the Shadow Higher Education Minister, both addressed the conference and took questions from delegates. Also on the agenda were a number of break-out seminar sessions, a lunchtime student-designed fringe meeting, and a Question Time-style panel discussion.
